Emeril Lagasse is a chef, restauranteur, TV personality and best-selling cookbook author. Since opening his namesake restaurant Emeril’s over twenty years ago, he has received numerous accolades for his culinary expertise and original take on Louisiana’s Creole cuisine. He is now the proprietor of twelve restaurants across the country, including three in New Orleans (Emeril’s, NOLA and Emeril’s Delmonico), in addition to outposts in Las Vegas, Orlando and Bethlehem, Pennsylvania. He continues to inspire viewers daily as the host of several popular cooking series, including “Emeril’s Table” on Hallmark Channel, along with “The Originals with Emeril” and “Emeril Live” on Cooking Channel. Lagasse’s restaurant company, Emeril’s Homebase, is located in the historic New Orleans warehouse district and houses Lagasse’s restaurant operations, a test kitchen for cookbook recipe development and boutique storefront for his signature products. In 2002, he created the charitable Emeril Lagasse Foundation which supports arts and education programs for young people in the communities that are home to his restaurants.
