Carnivale du Vin Bourbon, Boudin and Beer

Art and wine lovers unite! You may associate artist and friend of the foundation Alex Beard with his iconic “For the Love of the Pig” piece that has become the staple image of our Boudin, Bourbon & Beer event or more recently the talented hand that crafted the “For the Love of the Sailfish” for our Line, Vine & Dine event in Fort Lauderdale. For many years, Alex has graciously donated an original piece centered on the theme of our event tonight. “The Roots of My Art” portrays Emeril Lagasse Foundation’s years of growth through Alden and Emeril’s vision. The piece is an abstract oil on canvas, measuring an impressive 48" x 72" x 2". Alex is known for his “abstract naturalism,” as he’s coined the phrase, and he travels abroad for inspiration for his work. Not only can you own an original piece from Alex with an ode to your evening at Carnivale du Vin, but you’ll have the rare opportunity to visit with him among 19 of your closest friends with an exclusive wine tasting inside his Magazine Street gallery. Browse his eye-catching artwork as you sip on a selection of California’s finest and hear tales of his adventures while in on conservation safaris in Africa. The hardest part will be narrowing down your invite list! Alex will be unveiling his original, custom piece during our live auction for all to see!
