You and three guests will fly first class to the Big Apple on American Airlines and start your culinary weekend in style. Once you arrive to your Manhattan accommodations, drop your bags and get ready for two days of culinary mastery. Begin with a dinner in the chic upper east side at David Burke Tavern. This modern American restaurant by award-winning David Burke is situated on the first two stories of a stately townhouse and showcases his creative and contemporary approach to classic fare. Later, you’re treated to Daniel Boulud’s renowned Café Boulud for a three-course dinner with sommelier-selected wine pairings. Your visit to the city culminates with an evening among the company of Wine Spectator’s Executive Editor Thomas Matthews and his wife Sara, a renowned wine photographer and Emeril Lagasse Foundation advisory council member. They’ll take you on a behind the scenes tour of the Wine Spectator offices located in the historic Hell’s Kitchen neighborhood of Manhattan. Along with getting to see where the magic happens, Tom and Sara will let you choose a bottle from their fabled wine room to share over dinner. Speaking of dinner, after leaving Hell’s Kitchen, you’ll take the 3 blocks walk east to Eric Ripert’s three Michelin star Le Bernadin. This special seafood haven has racked up award after award including Best Restaurant in the World by La Liste. Enjoy Chef Eric’s exquisite attention to detail along with superb wines, selected by your hosts.
